Frequently Asked Questions

 

1. Are dogs allowed?


Yes. Dogs under 30 lbs are permitted within the community.
 

2. What does the HOA insurance cover?


The condominium association maintains “walls out” insurance coverage for the complex.
Homeowners are responsible for items inside their individual condo unit, including:
  • Drywall
  • Windows
  • Personal property
  • Plumbing fixtures
  • Electrical outlets
  • Flooring
  • Air conditioning & heating systems

Please contact your personal insurance provider for recommended interior coverage.
 

3. Is there a new resident application fee?


Yes. There is a $250 new resident application fee per unit.
This process helps Cypress Cove maintain accurate resident records and supports smooth communication within the community after move-in.
Please have the mortgage company or closing attorney include this fee on the purchaser’s closing statement along with any prorated HOA dues.

4. Does reserved parking transfer with the property?


No. Reserved parking spaces do not automatically convey with the property.

After closing and receipt of keys, new owners may choose to reserve a parking space.
  • Annual Fee: $100
  • Due each April
 

5. How are HOA dues paid?

HOA dues are processed through the accounting firm using QuickBooks automatic draft services.

6. Can residents use the clubhouse?


Yes. The clubhouse is available free of charge for private activities and personal use.
Pool hours are posted onsite.

 

7. How do I get a mailbox key?

Mailbox keys must be obtained directly through the Biloxi Post Office.

For safety purposes and fire department access requirements, homeowners are also asked to provide the HOA with a key to their condo unit.

 

8. Are cable and fiber optics included?


Yes. Fiber optics and cable services are included as part of the HOA dues.
 

9. What are HOA dues used for?


HOA dues support the ongoing maintenance, operation, and improvement of common areas and shared community amenities.
 

10. What if my lender requires a Condo Certification?


An example Condo Certification form is available within the Bylaws section of the website for lenders to review and complete using the provided HOA information.
 

11. How often are General Membership meetings held?


General Membership meetings are held once per year.
